Raymond F. Frantz
Raymond F. Frantz, 75, of Allentown, returned home' Saturday January 6, 2007 after a brief illness at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Born in Allentown; he was a son of the late Charles and Laura (Fleishacker) Frantz, Sr. He was the loving husband of Olga (Procak) Frantz for over 56 years. A 1948 graduate of Allentown High School, Ray was employed for many years by Luckenbach & Johnson and General Electric. He was an active member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown serving as chairman of the Church Council Finance Committee, sang on the church's senior choir, assisted with the youth choir, and served as the Luther League advisor. Raymond was predeceased by six sisters, Emma Kolowitz, Margaret Ebner, Elsie Frantz, Ella Farkas, Rose Frantz, and Stella Voyden, and a brother, William J. Frantz, Sr.
Survivors: Loving Wife; Daughters: Debra L. of Blue Bell, PA Carol A., wife of Dr. Scott E. Kemmerer, M.D. of Hallowell, ME, and Zenia M., wife of Wade J. Brickheimer of Three Oaks, MI; Grandchildren, Andrew Kemmerer, Michael Kemmerer, Raymond Brickheimer and Jenna Brickheimer; Sisters, Lillian Mesics and Doris Saylor; Brother, Charles F. Frantz; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services: 11:30 AM, Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Weber Funeral Home, P.C., 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown. Viewing: 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
