Raymond J. Bonenberger

Raymond J. Bonenberger, 85, of Allentown, passed away on Jan. 9, 2016. Born in Brockton, PA; he was a son of the late Raymond W. and Laura (Murphy) Bonenberger. Raymond was the loving husband of Margaret (Vari) Bonenberger for 48 years. He was part of the Tuesday Crew and member at St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, Allentown. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Raymond was a member of the Bocce Club and was an avid bowler. He was employed by Western Electric, AT&T and Mack Trucks. Raymond was preceded in death by a brother, Paul, and three sisters, Anne Vassar, Catherine Kucharik, and Mary Kucharik.

Survivors: Wife, Margaret; Daughters, Laura Sabol, and her husband David and Regina Jacoby and her husband Scott; Grandchildren, Andrew Sabol and Ashley and Madison Jacoby; and many nieces and nephews.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, Tues., Jan. 19, 2016 at St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, 510 W. Union St., Allentown. Visitation: 9:30 - 10:20 AM, Tues., at the church. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
