Obituary

Ramza Ishak of Allentown, formerly of Syria passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 30, 2012 surrounded by loving family. She was the wife of the late Nazir J. Ishak. She was a textile worker at Syntex and Mary-Lou Garments. She embraced all those that knew her with love. Ramza was well known in the community for her Shankleesh and Syrian bread. She raised six loving children and helped raise her grandchildren. She was a member of St. George Antiochian Church. Ramza was predeceased by her granddaughter Jamie Dayoub of Whitehall; brother Georges Ishak of Syria; and sisters Jamili Dayoub, Helen Slaiby, and Lousia Tyeh of Syria.
Survivors: Sons George Ishak and Gabriel Ishak, husband of Mayra, both of Allentown; daughters Najah, wife of Samir Dayoub of Whitehall, Najat, wife of the late Jean Babayan, and Georgette, wife of Orlando Rivera, both of Allentown, Ghada, wife of Mark Nicholas of Northampton; sister Wardee Wahbeh of Syria; 15 grandchildren, 8 great-grand children, nieces, nephews, and many other loving family and friends.
Services: Visitation will be held at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave, Allentown, from 6:30-8:30pm on Tue, Sep. 4, and from 9:30-10:30am on Wed, Sep. 5. Services at St. George Antiochian Church at 11:00am. Internment at Laurel Cemetery to follow services.
Contributions: In Ramza's memory, contributions will be taken at the funeral home for the Jamie Dayoub Memorial Fund.
