Ralph was born December 12, 1937 to Helen Miller in Chicago, IL.  During his teenage years he met Ermma Gibbons and the union was blessed with a son, Tracey.  He received his high school education and enlisted in the United States Air Force where his first tour of duty was in Japan.  Upon the completion of that tour he returned to the United States and was stationed in Texas where he met and married Charlotte Thomas; the union was blessed with two more sons, Andre and Ralph, Jr.  He later met and married Angela Bond; staying together, until his passing, for thirty years.

Ralph was employed at Allied Security Company for ten years and worked as a chef for thirty years at the Lyons Veterans Administration Hospital until his retirement.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Angela; four children, Tracey Gibbons, Andre Cromer, Ralph A. Cromer, Jr. (Francrystal) and Tonya Marie Ward-Smith (Jamaal); grandchildren, LaToya Jones-Clarke (Akasha), Ralph A. Cromer, III, Malika Cromer, Marcal A. Perkins, Jr., Jailyn Ward, Bianca Ward, Aiden Smith, Tamir Smith, Jamaal Smith, Jr. and Jamalyah Smith; great-grandchildren, Jahniyah Griggs, Michael Griggs, Jr., Nahshon Griggs, Felicity Gore, Mackenzie Gore and Donald Gore, III; four close friends, Kevin and Stephanie Williams and Prince Macknight (Naomi – deceased) and a host of other loving family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:00am at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Ave. Allentown, PA.  Interment immediately following at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery
