Beatrice E. Pletz
Beatrice E. Pletz, 86 of Allentown, passed away on in the arms of the lord on January 28th in St. Luke's Hospital Allentown. She was the daughter of the late John and Caroline (Richter) Eck. Beatrice was the wife of the late Charles "Blackey" Pletz who passed away in 2001; she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown. Beatrice was very involved & loved her family deeply; she was an avid bingo player. She was employed by Penn State Mills as a Seamstress.
Survivors: Son; Charles & his wife Rose Pletz of Northampton. Daughter; Janice A. & her husband Dennis Hess of Macungie. Beatrice was predeceased by a son; Kenneth R. Pletz who passed away on January 27, 2010. 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren & 5 great-great-grandchildren & her beloved Feline friends.
