Phyllis P. Watts
Phyllis P. Watts, 95, of Allentown, died at St. Luke's Hospital, August 19, 2014. She was married 56 years to the late Allan F. Watts. Born in East Hartford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Emma (Whitty) Plumridge. Her brothers, James and Robert Plumridge preceded her in death. Phyllis achieved her Associates in Business Administration at Post College in Connecticut. She worked for the Connecticut State Welfare Department, drove an ambulance for the Red Cross, owned Hamilton Antiques, and was a homemaker. Phyllis was a strong community and civic leader, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. During her years in Allentown, she co-founded Children's Rights of Pennsylvania, supported Sing-Out of the Lehigh Valley, and was a member of the Women's Club of the Lehigh Valley, the Scottish Society of the Lehigh Valley and the Episcopal Church of the Mediator.

Watts, Deborah P., wife of John Hartman, and Cynthia A., wife of John Layton; Grandchildren, Kroeger and Kurt Iobst, Jessica and James Watts, Kelly Comboni, Cory Hartman, Naomi Winch, and Eli Heckman; Great Grandchildren, Maxfield and Preston Iobst, Indy Winch, Rowan, Seth, and Finnian Winch, Chase and Bryce Comboni, and Lilah Hartman.
