Philip Kloap
Philip Kloap, 76, of Limeport, PA, formerly of Nanticoke, PA died peacefully on Oct. 2, 2010 surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Born in Nanticoke, PA; Philip was a son of the late Peter and Plazia (Melnick) Kloap. He was the loving husband of Rosemary (Malec) Kloap for 51 years. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport where he sang in the choir and was affiliated with the Prime Time club. He was a 3rd degree in the Knights of Columbus. He was employed by Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric, for 37 years until retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Pioneers. He was a graduate of Williamsport Technical Institute. He was involved in the Boy Scouts of America. Philip enjoyed traveling, hummingbirds, and gardening. He was predeceased by a son, Philip, Jr., six brothers, and three sisters.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife, Rosemary; Daughters, Linda, wife of Bill Price of Robesonia, PA and Lora, wife of Daniel Luchansky of Allentown; Son, Philip Allen Kloap, husband of Dolores of Jim Thorpe, PA; 10 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
SERVICES: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Wed., Oct. 6, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joseph's Road, coopersburg, PA. Viewing: 6:30 - 9:00 PM, Tuesday, Oct.5, 2010 at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101-B N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA. Interment to be held in Calvary Cemetery.
