Peggy M. James, 76, of Allentown, passed away November 28, 2023. Born in Sayre, PA she was the daughter of the late Vernon Mann and Marian (Yale) Cocco.

Peggy graduated from William Allen High School. She worked for Lehigh County for many years, specifically in Community Development, Children and Youth, and Adult Probation. She also worked at the Iacocca Institute at Lehigh University, at Sacred Heart Hospital, and Cedarbrook Nursing Home. Peggy volunteered with Cetronia Ambulance. Outside of work she was passionate about rescuing cats and participating in TNR of cats. She loved artwork, working with oil paints, pen and ink, and watercolors.

She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Jerry Mann and his wife, Wendy, Joe Cocco, Susan, wife of Ron Schafer, and Nancy, wife of Myron Zbaudin, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in passing by two brothers: John O. Mann and Frank L. Cocco Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
