Peg grew up in Mountville, PA and moved to Columbia, PA when she married our father, the late Henry H. Huber. She had many hobbies and interests over the years. For a number of years she operated Shelcol Kennels where she raised, trained, sold and showed AKC Registered Shetland Sheepdogs. She was also a licensed antique collector and dealer. Later in life she became an avid gardener. Her home at 426 Poplar Street was a regular stop for the Columbia Historic Preservation Society's Garden Tour and the SKH Lancaster Water Garden Tour, among others.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or online at www.hospiceconnect.org/give . We are so very grateful to the caregivers at Hospice; thank you all so very much! A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
