Paula Gene Pascucci passed away on September 9th, 2011.
Born in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 1953, she was the daughter of Barbara Miller (Schreiber) Harris and the late Gene Kline. She graduated from Emmaus High School and from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, where she majored in Psychology. She served as pastry and bread chef for over 30 years at local restaurant establishments including the Holiday Inn East (Bethlehem), The Shanty Restaurant, Magnolia's Vineyard, The Master's at Shepherd Hills, Madison's on Main, and The Orchard. She also decorated wedding cakes for the Emmaus Bakery.
She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield, and an active and joyous participant in its Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults.
Paula was an avid athlete. Throughout her life she reveled in daily athletic activity which routinely included combinations of distance swimming, weight training, running, spinning, bicycling, and walking. She enjoyed memberships at West End 24-7 Racquet and Fitness Club and The Jewish Community Center.
Survivors include her husband, Carmen Pascucci; mother, Barbara Harris and her husband, Aristides Harris, of Allentown; brothers William Kline and his sons Paul, Jeffrey, and William; Scott Kline, his wife Shirley and son Joshua; Jeffrey, his wife Carma Heitzmann and daughters Circassia and Delilah; stepsiblings Peter Harris and his wife Susan; and Judith Harris and companion Jack Mydlo; stepson John Jaindl; stepdaughter Gena Pascucci and stepgrandaughter Kaya; and other cherished extended family members and beloved friends.
Friends may call at the Weber Funeral Home at 1619 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown on Wednesday September 14th from 6 to 8 pm. On Thursday morning a calling from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am, both at St Joseph's the Workers Church in Orefield, Pa on Thursday.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made in Paula's name to the LVHN Gynecological Oncology research and education fund at Cedar Crest Blvd in Allentown, Pa.
