Paul H. "Max" Baer, 89, of Bath, PA, passed away December 5, 2018. Born in Centerport, PA, he was the son of the late Pierce and Catherine (Ruth) Baer. Raised in Fleetwood, He also lived in Tampa and Allentown.
Max had honorably served in the United States Army during the Korean War, where he was stationed in Germany with the 3rd Armored Field Artillery. After, he worked for many years as a mechanic, owning his own shop at one time. He retired from Diesel Service as a service manager. In his spare time, Max enjoyed gardening, antique collecting, fixing things, and roller skating.
He is lovingly remembered by his two children, Michele Wetten of Brookhaven PA. and Kraig Baer and his wife Suzanne Of Temple, PA., one grandson, Tanner Wetten, and one sister, Helen Baer.
Max was preceded in death by his first and second wife, Marilyn "Shug" (Miller) Baer, and Alice (Murray) Baer.
Services will be private.
