Paul J. Koval
Paul J. Koval, 89, of Center Valley, passed away on April 3, 2011 at the Phoebe Home. He was the loving husband of Dorothy (Kelly) Koval for 42 years. Born in Larksville, PA; he was a son of the late Martin and Anna (Perhac) Koval. He was a member and reader at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Limeport. Volunteering for the U. S. Navy in 1938, Paul achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer and served until the end of WWII. Following his war service, he graduated in 1951 from the University of Scranton. His work as a CPA and analyst for the General Accounting Office took him to Wash, D.C. until he retired in 1981 after over 40 years of government service. Paul was a member of the Assoc. of Certified Public Accountants.
Survivors: Wife, "Kelly"; Daughter, Patricia, wife of Mark Whittle of Ashburn, VA; Sisters, Susan Krivenko, Margaret Witkosky, and Mildred Sousa; Grandchildren, Alan and Simon Whittle; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, Albert and Martin, and two sisters, Catherine Demko and Anna Motz.
