Paul A. Gackenbach Jr., 93, of Allentown, passed away August 16, 2023. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Paul A. Gackenbach Sr. and Verna L. (Ritz) Gackenbach. Paul was preceded in passing by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Gackenbach in 2008.

Paul served in the US Air Force for 2 years, 4 months, and 15 days. After, he worked for the US Postal Service for 33 years until his retirement. Paul was a Post Grand Knight at the Knights Of Columbus Calvary Council 528. Paul was an Assistant Cub Master for Pack 37 and Assistant Scout Master for Troop 37.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Dolores L. (Gackenbach) Gray of Allentown, PA as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in passing by his siblings: Norman K Gackenbach, Donald E. Gackenbach, Joyce L. (Gackenbach) Fetzer, Betty J.E. (Gackenbach) Heckman, and Russell E. Gackenbach.

A viewing will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12:30PM to 1:30PM at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton St. Allentown, PA 18102, burial to follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
