Patrick W. (Rogers) Trinkle, 38, formerly of Allentown, passed away Sept. 29, 2006 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth. Born in Camden, NJ he was the son of Tobey Trinkle-Schwartz of Allentown and the late Patrick S. Rogers. Patrick was a 1985 graduate of Central Catholic High School, and then attended Penn State's Allentown campus. He faithfully served in the United States Marines until he was Medically Discharged. Patrick had successfully obtained 20 years of sobriety with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous, and mentored many youths dealing with drug and alcohol issues. He was a former member of DeMolay and worked in various positions at several area restaurants.
Survivors: Mother and Step Father James E. Schwartz of Allentown; sister, Jessica wife of Wayne Shupp of Bethlehem Twp.; maternal grandmother, Iona J. Tyler of Maple Shade, NJ; uncle, William C. Tyler of Maple Shade, NJ; aunt, Deborah J. Lesher of Allentown; uncle Brian J. Tyler and wife Maureen of Cherry Hill, NJ; cousins, Ryan, Emily, William, Sean, Mackenzie, Shannon, Sarah, Michael, Danielle and Maxwell; also the loving staff of Tower Six at Gracedale County Nursing Home. He was predeceased by an aunt, Beverly J. DeFiore. Services: 11:00am Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 W. Hamilton St. Allentown. Visitation: Tuesday, 10:00am until the time of services, at the funeral home.
