Olga Bertalan

Olga Bertalan, 87, of Allentown, passed away on Jan. 3, 2014 in the David A. Miller Building at Phoebe. Born in Philadelphia on Feb. 6, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Theopone and Mary (Szczesny) Kachuk. Olga was the loving wife of Frank Bertalan for over 56 years. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown where she participated in the Prime Time Club and volunteered at the school. Olga was a talented seamstress for many years before retiring. She took a great deal of pride in entertaining family and friends.

Survivors: Husband; Sons, Peter, husband of Christine of Allentown, Paul of Syracuse, N.Y., and Christopher of Allentown. She is preceded in death by a step-father, John Ignatuk and a brother, Fred Kachuk.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 AM, Fri., Jan. 10, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. Viewing: 9:30 - 10:15 AM, Fri., at the church. Services entrusted to Weber Funeral Homes. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
