Nancy Jean (Hippey) Nemith 93 of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at home October 12, 2026.

Born August 26, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Samuel W. and Edna (Stauffer) Hippey. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Nemith, and brother Jay Hippey, and sister Margaret Sweigart.

Nancy retired from Anderson’s Pretzel Factory. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, tending to her flowers, and was devoted to her faith.

She is survived by her daughter Rose marie wife of James Barnhart, two sons Rick Nemith and his companion Val, Steven husband of Deb Nemith. She is also survived by her sister Janet Zook wife of Steve Liller, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Episcopal Church, 321 West Chestnut Street, Lancaster, PA 17603, in memory of Nancy Jean Nemith.
