Naiphe Hadeed Barchine, 89, of Whitehall, passed away April 27, 2017. Born in Amar Al-Hosn, Syria, she was the daughter and the last surviving child of the late Souleiman Hadeed and Jamileh Hadeed.

Naiphe is lovingly remembered as being a kind and gentle person who always had an open door and made sure no one left her house hungry. Naiphe was a dedicated, wife, and mother, raising her six children with love, taking care of her home and helping with the family business, Barchine & Sons, in Trinidad.

SURVIVORS: Three daughters: Lily Barchine Horning and husband Larry of Texas, Violet Barchine Hadid and husband Mitri of New Jersey, and Margaret Barchine of Virginia. Three sons: John Barchine; Salaim Barchine and his wife Ibtessam; and Charles Barchine and his wife Lois, all of whom are from Trinidad. Naiphe is also survived by twelve grandchildren, David, Samuel, Salaim Jr., Daniel, Nicholas, Joseph, Joshua, Jonathan, Rachel, Ryan, Brandon, Shawn, and six great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Sarah, Rachel, Ariel, Ricardo and Luke.

She was predeceased by her grandson Dimitri Hadid on November 14, 2016 and her husband Abdullah Barchine who passed away 27 years ago on February 10,1990.

SERVICES: 1130am on Tuesday May 2nd at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 501 Ridge Avenue, Allentown. A viewing will be held from 1030am until time of service.
