Nabeeh A. Younes, 73 of Whitehall Twp., died Wednesday January 19, 2011 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital -Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Fay (Barber) for the past 48 years having married April 26, 1962. Born in Amar, Syria, he was a son of the late Anis and Mounera (Azar) Younes. Nabeeh attended Muhlenberg College and graduated from Kutztown University in 1961 with a B.S. in History and Language and later earned his Masters Degree in education there. He was a machinist for Mack Trucks for 23 years retiring in 1992. He previously taught for four years each at Dieruff and Northampton High Schools. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Northampton. Survivors: Wife; sons, Ray A. of New York City, Ronald J. and wife Abby, Victor N., Mark A. and wife Kristen, a daughter Denise F. wife of Joseph Rentko all of Whitehall; brother Joseph and wife Lamia Younes of Northampton; sister Afaf wife of David Moses of Allentown; five grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Habib and a sister Nabeeha.
