Monserrate Colon, 81, of Allentown, died December 17, 2013. Born September 8, 1932 in Guayama, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Julia (Diaz) Torres. Monserrate was the wife of the late Felipe Colon. She worked for the former AT&T of Allentown for 36 years.

SURVIVORS: Son, Rev. Dr. Felix Colon; daughters Veronica Torres, Ana, wife of William R. Cole, and Cathy, wife of Jeff Shorter, all of Allentown; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A viewing will be held on Friday, December 20th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton St., Allentown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 21st at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 336 N. 4th St., Allentown.
