Mona Makoul, 86, of Whitehall passed away February 10, 2017 embraced by her family. Born in Amar Syria. She was the daughter of the late Antonios and Astinath (Koury) Sayegh. She was the loving wife of the late Isaac Makoul.

Mona was a member of the St. George Orthodox Church. She loved gardening, cooking, and serving a plentiful table for all who visited. Mona gave of herself to help friends and family whom she adored.

Survivors: son, John A. Makoul and wife JoAnn; daughter, Esther wife of Steve Courtright; sister, Mounifie wife of George Koury; five grandchildren, Joshua, Benjamin, Caitlin, Meredith, and Kelsey; Three Great-grandchildren, Jack, Elin, and Lilianna. Mona was preceded in death by her son Michael and 6 siblings.

Services: 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14th ,at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave. Allentown.
