Miriam E. Keeler
Miriam E. Keeler, 87, of Coopersburg fell asleep with the Lord on January 21, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Ottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Fox Hager and Melinda (Beer) Hager. She was the wife of the late Paul C. Keeler for 46 years. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Center Valley where she was a founding member.
Miriam touched many lives by being an active member in many organizations; she was a member of VFW Post 3405, Treasurer of the Woman's Guild at Faith UCC Church, Life member of DAV Auxiliary, Member of 709 TANK Battalion Reunion Association. She was also a secretary for the former Coopersburg Legion, Past Treasurer and life member of the Upper Saucon Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: Sons; Bruce D. Keeler and his wife Michele of Coopersburg, Vernon C. Keeler and his wife Dotty of Keymar, MD. Daughters; Berniece E. Zweifel of New Oxford, PA, Hope M. Keeler of Ellwood City, PA. Grandchildren; Kimberly A. Rees and husband Brian, Christopher M. Keeler and wife Elizabeth, Michelle L. Wood and husband Robert, Mark R. Keeler and Benjamin A. Keeler. A host of nieces and nephews. Miriam was predeceased by three brothers; Francis, Newberry and Chester Hager.
Services: Visitation will be held in Faith UCC church Rt. 378 Center Valley on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. Visitation on Friday will also be held from 10: 00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. followed by services at 11:00 both in the church.
