Miriam E. Doerr
Miriam E. Doerr, 94, of Coopersburg, passed away on June 22 in her home. Born in Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Calanthe (Fritchman) Doerr. Miriam was the wife of the late Edwin J. Doerr Sr. who passed away in 1987, she was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Coopersburg, and she was employed as a High School teacher in Southern Lehigh for 19 years, retiring in 1978. She had a passion for teaching & strived to bring out the best in everyone. Miriam was a gifted musician & artist.
Survivors: Daughters: Calanthe McClatchy of Coopersburg, PA, Mary Thrapp of Mechanicsburg, PA, Edith Honisch and her husband Frank III of Chelfont, PA. Sons; Rev. Dr. Edwin J. Doerr Jr. and his wife Barbara of Georgia, John Doerr and his wife Pat of Philadelphia, PA, and a large extended loving family. Many Nieces & Nephews.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 26th Visitation 11:00am - 11:30am followed by services at 11:30am all in St. James Lutheran Church Rt. 309 Coopersburg, PA.
