Mildred L. Slompak, of Topton and formerly of Allentown, passed away on December 1st at the age of 89. She was born in Scranton to the late Thomas and Anna (Havrylko) Liberno and this past February 23rd she celebrated 64 years of marriage to her loving husband Michael. Mildred had worked as a Bookkeeper for the Inspection Department at Bethlehem Steel and in retail at Bradlees Department Store. She had been a member of both St. Andrew's and St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Churches, in Allentown. Mildred was predeceased by her siblings: Mary, Kay, Julie, Rose, Helen, and Michael.
Survivors: Husband Michael, Daughters: Carol Ann Slompak-Patton and husband Jeff, and Barbara Nyland and husband Scott. Grandchildren Lee, Chrissy, and Michael.
Services: A calling will be held on Saturday December 10 from 10AM until a Blessing Service at 11:30AM both will be at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. in Allentown.
