Michael Slompak, of Macungie, passed away on June 13 ^th at the age of 96. He was born in Allentown to the late Stephen and Katherine Slampyak and was married for 64 years to his late wife Mildred. Michael retired in 1986 from Bethlehem Steel, where he worked as a Die Designer / Engineering and in the Drop Forge Department.

He had been a member of St. Andrew's Byzantine Catholic Church, in Allentown and he honorably served with the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea, reaching the rank of Captain in the Artillery Division.

Survivors: Daughters: Carol Ann Slompak-Patton and husband Jeff, and Barbara Nyland and husband Scott. Grandchildren Lee, Chrissy, and Michael. Sister Eleanor Mackey

Services: A viewing will be held on Saturday June 16 ^th from 9:00AM until a Blessing Service at 10:00AM both will be at Weber Funeral Home, 502 Ridge Ave. in Allentown.
