Michael, age 93, of Allentown, PA passed away on October 20, 2013 in the Luther Crest Nursing Care facility. Michael was born on October 12, 1920 in Allentown, PA. After serving in the CCC for several years he joined the US Army on July 14, 1942 and served in the Pacific during WWII. Michael was honorably discharged in December 1945 and was a Life Member of the VFW Post 13 and 2124. After the war he delivered new Mack Trucks for Howard Sober Inc. from 1946 until he retired and is a Gold Card Life Member of Teamster Local 773 in Allentown.

Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Daisy Krowitz (nee Rupert); children Michael Krowitz, Jr. (Donna), Margaret (Krowitz) Lehr; Joseph Krowitz (Esperanza), and Eve Marie Krowitz (Ken Higgins); 7 grandchildren (Kim, John, Patricia, Elizabeth, Melissa, Josef and Michael); 8 great grandchildren; and a large extended family of nephews and nieces.

Services: Viewing 10-11am, and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Friday, October 25 at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church at 920 S. 2nd St, Allentown. Internment at Resurrection Cemetery in Wescosville to follow.
