Obituary

Michael Joseph Carroll, passed away on February 3rd at the age of 84. He was born in Brooklawn, NJ to the late William J. and Mary P. (Sedina) Carroll and was married to his loving wife Phyllis A. (Ahner). Michael had served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956 and worked in the Ore Handling Department, at Bethlehem Steel, as a ore car operator and dispatcher from 1950-1992. He was the foreman of the Upper Saucon Fire Co. in the 1960's, drove bus for the Southern Lehigh School District from 1958-1976. After retiring he moved to Ogunquit Maine and was a prominent member their Chamber of Commerce. He was predeceased by Sisters: Julia Register of Neff's, Pa, Marian Mogck of New Jersey, Mary Wright of Levittown, Pa, and Frances Sharpe of Philadelphia Pa. Brothers William and James of Centre Valley, Pa
Survivors: Wife Phyllis, Step Sons: Richard and wife Cookie Ford of Bethlehem, Pa and David and wife Anna Ford of Bethlehem, Pa, Brother in Law Walter Register of Florida. He is also survived by many loving friends such as Rudy and Judy Rudolph of Steel City and many others in Maine and Pennsylvania
Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday February 8th at 11:30 at Woodland Cemetery in Coopersburg. Family and Friends and family can gather at Norcross Weber Funeral Home, in Coopersburg, at 11AM to join the procession to the grave site.
