Melvin E. Reasinger
Melvin E. Reasinger, 86, of Coopersburg, passed away on Oct. 17, 2011 at his residence. Born in Sandy Twp., PA, he was a son of the late Howard and Beatrice (Reasinger) Rhodes. He was the husband of H. LaRue (Schwartz) Reasinger for over 65 years. He was employed as a Master printer for Moore Business Forms for over 40 years until retiring in 1988. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a volunteer fireman and fire policeman at the Coopersburg Fire Co. He worked on the Coopersburg Ambulance. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Coopersburg. He was a member of the LaSalle Masonic Lodge, Niagara Falls, NY.
Survivors: Wife; Sons, Jack G., husband of Candi of Ill. and Thomas E., husband of Virginia of Palmerton; Grandsons, James and Jason Reasinger and Christopher and Chad Reifinger; Great Grandchildren, Kayla and Timothy Reifinger and Dashiell Reasinger. He was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Susan Reasinger.
Services: 11:00 AM Thurs., Oct. 20, 2011 at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101-B N. Main St., Coopersburg, PA. Viewing: 6:00 - 9:00 PM, Wed., Oct. 19 and 9:00 - 10:45 AM, Thursday at the funeral home.
