May M. Tust, 84, of Allentown passed away Thursday October 23, 2008 in the Liberty Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of Walter W. Tust for the past 59 years. She was born in Allentown on May 2, 1924 a daughter of the late Henry and Cenia (Druckenmiller) Sterner. May graduated from Allentown High School in June 1942 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She worked for Bell Telephone Co. and The Morning Call as a switchboard operator. She was an avid gardener and loved to grow flowers. Her hobbies included collecting antiques and ceramic objects. She also had many paintings by local artists, which she cherished very much. Survivors: Husband; Walter W. Tust; daughters, Linda May Tust and Susan Kay wife of Scott Zimpfer; grandchildren, Jacob and Sarah Zimpfer; sister, June Sommers; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Philip Alan Tust. Services: Graveside services 2:00 pm Tuesday October 28, 2008 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Airport Road, Allentown, PA.
