Maureen T. Jerant, of Coopersburg, passed away on January 24th at the age of 86. She was born in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Edwin and Mary (York) MacNamara and was married to the late Anthony P. Jerant. She graduated from Penn State University, in 1952, with her B.S. and went on to be a teacher for the Diocese of Allentown for 26 years, retiring in 1990. Maureen was a past President and Vice President of Coopersburg Boro Council, a member of the Community Day Committee, the PA Junior Academy of Science and St. Josephs Catholic Church, in Limeport.
Survivors: Daughters: Maureen Jerant and Peggy and husband John Philapavage, Sons: Richard and wife Kathleen Ann Jerant and Anthony E. Jerant, Foster Daughter Faye E. and husband Barry Stocker, Grandson John Anthony Philapavage, Sister Margaret O'Neill, and Brother Jerry and wife Carol MacNamara
Services: A calling will be held on March 18th from 9:00AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM both will be at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Coopersburg, Pa.
