Matthew A. "Eckie" Eck Sr., 78, of Allentown, formerly of Whitehall, passed away August 15 at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. Born in Fullerton he was a son of the late Franklin and Frances (Printz) Eck. He was the husband of the late Shirley Eck who passed in 2000. Matthew worked as a truck driver and then in appliance sales until his retirement. He served in the Army during WWII. Survivors: Children, Lynda Eck of FL, Matthew Jr., Cynthia wife of Barry McLaughlin, Alison wife of Harold Dries, all of Allentown; three grandchildren; brother Edwin Eck of VA.
