Matilda (Horvath) Kancsal, 92. of Allentown passed away on February 24, 2017. She was born on April 4, 1924 in Nemespati, Hungary, to the late Lazlo and Angela Horvath.

She was a nurse and a midwife in Hungary, a sewing machine operator and forelady, and finally went on to own her own sewing company.

SURVIVORS: son, Joseph and his wife Donna Kancsal, grandchildren, Jon Thomas and wife Casey, Adam Kancsal, two great-grandchildren, Addison and Carsten Cross.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela Kancsal, Kathleen Cross, and one granddaughter Brittany Kancsal.

SERVICES: 12:30 PM, Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, 1700 Airport Rd, Allentown. A viewing will be held at Weber Funeral Home 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown from 10 AM to 12PM at the funeral home.
