Mary Jane Yons, 88, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed December 25th, 2025. Born October 5th, 1937 to parent William and Violet (Huber) Holland, she was the wife of the late Willard Yons Sr. until his passing in 2007. Mary Jane worked for many years as a sewing machine operator for Hill Top Manufacturing.

Mary Jane enjoyed going yard saleling and to flea markets, hunting for a good deal. At home, she embroidered and read, especially Beverly Lewis, Amish novels, and old westerns. In the summer she enjoyed picnics, and in the winter Mary Jane loved to go ice skating and riding snow mobiles up in the Poconos. Faith was also very important to Mary Jane, and she attended church every Sunday.

Mary Jane is survived by her children Donna Wieder, Willard "Jack" Yons Jr., and Doug Yons; grandchildren Missy, Willard "Jackie" III, Karen, Sharon, Mandy, Nikki, and Sara; brother Robert Holland; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Jane is predeceased by her daughter Carol and eight brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held for Mary Jane on Tuesday January 6th, 2026 at 12 p.m. at St. James Lutheran Woodland Cemetery 5900 Applebutter Hill Road
