Mary E. Thiel, of Allentown, passed away on March 21 ^st at the age of 100.She was the daughter of Thomas and Irene (Paul) Eddinger and was predeceased by her husband Paul L. Thiel and siblings Doris Jenny, Alvin Eddinger and Sarah Eddinger. Mary was a graduate of Liberty High School and went on to attend St. Luke's Nursing School, graduating in 1941. She then worked for St. Luke's Hospital for many years and also worked for Good Sheppard Rehabilitation Center until her retirement. She was a life long member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity where she also volunteered at their thrift store. This past November she had a celebration of her life with family and extended family celebrating her 100 ^th birthday.
Survivors : Children: Margaret "Peggy" Risser, Thomas and wife Joy Thiel. Grandchildren: Lauri and husband James Johnson, Matthew and wife Laurie Risser, Emily Thiel, and James Thiel. Great Grandchildren: Jami Johnson, Liese Johnson, Noah Risser, and Quinn Risser. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Services: A service will be at 11:00AM on Wednesday March 28 ^th at The Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte St, Bethlehem, PA 18015
