Mary "Marie" (Takerer) Marth, 97, of Whitehall, passed away on February 7, 2016. She was born in Allentown to the late Frank and Mary (Fiedler) Takerer. Marie was the loving wife of the late Joseph Marth Jr. for 45 years. She was a devoted member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church.
Along with her husband Marie was predeceased by her brothers Frank, Bill and Joe. She was also predeceased by her sister Anna.
Survivors: Marie is survived by her Sister Margaret Sell wife of Ralph; nephew Daniel Takerer and many other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her closest friend Gloria Lloyd.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10AM Friday, February 12, 2016 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church 618 Fullerton Ave, Whitehall, PA 18052. A viewing will be held from 9AM till time of Mass all at the church. Burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery Fullerton Ave, Whitehall will follow Mass.
