Mary, 79, of Center Valley, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Ervin Schlaner. She was born in Quakertown to the late John and Martha (Stout) Stoneback. Mary worked for the former A&P grocery store in Quakertown. She worked many years in the Southern Lehigh School District retiring as head cook of the Hopewell Elementary School. She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ Center Valley where for many years she sang on the church choir, sharing her gift of voice.

Survivors: Husband; daughter Catherine, wife of Terry Benner of Emmaus; son Robert Schlaner of Center Valley; grandsons Timothy Schlaner and wife Christie of Coopersburg, and Adam Benner of Emmaus; and great grandson Ryan Schlaner; She was predeceased by daughter Terry Smith; sisters Florence Baringer, Clara Scholl, andEmily Noll; and brothers John and Willard Stoneback.

Services: Viewing Sunday, March 24 from 6-8pm at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101B N. Main St, Coopersburg. Viewing Monday, March 25, 10-10:30am, followed by a service at 10:30, both at Faith United Church of Christ, 5992 Pennsylvania 378, Center Valley, PA 18036.
