Mary (Marlene) Alice Steckel, 89, of Center Valley, passed away June 10, 2024. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Ochs) Steckel.

She was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired teacher-administrator for the Quakertown Community School District.

She is survived by a sister, Eleanor L. Sodl of Seaside Heights, NJ.

She was preceded in passing by her brothers, Warren, of Whitehall, and Jack Steckel, of Allentown.

Services will be private.

Contributions may be made in Mary's name to the Good Shepherd Home of Allentown.
