Mary Rodgers
Mary Rodgers, 91, of Allentown, passed away June 18, 2008 at her granddaughter's residence in Orefield after a long battle with cancer. Born in Fayette County, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Sophia (Toczek) Hrubick. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Rodgers who died on Dec. 5, 1979. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown. She was a member of the Golden Ages Senior Citizens Club at St. John the Baptist Church. She was employed by Perfect Knit and Quality Sportswear in Allentown for over 27 years until retiring in 1973. She was predeceased by three sons, Francis, Charles, III, and Joseph, two brothers, Frank Browinsky and Mike Hrubick, and one sister, Helen Halulko.
Survivors: Grandson, Patrick D. Rodgers Granddaughter, Michelle, wife of Todd Meltsch; Great Grandson, John Patrick Meltsch; and many nieces and nephews.
