Mary Rengert
Mary Rengert, 88 of Allentown passed away on May 23 in Cedarbrook. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Byrne and the late Mary (Dinsmore) Byrne; she was the wife of the late Frederick S. Rengert who passed away in 1987. Mary was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown; she was a devoted and loving Mother of a special needs son. Mary worked as a Hairdresser for 5 years at Hess's and was a proprietor of her own shop for 5 years. She volunteered at the Mercy Special Learning Center.
Survivors: Son; Frederick J. Rengert of Allentown. Sisters; Anne Byrne of Allentown, Noreen, wife of Leonard Resetar of Hellertown.
Services: Viewing will be held on Friday, May 29 9:00am to 10:30am followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10:30am both in Immaculate Conception Church Allentown.
