Mary Pesty, 92, of South Whitehall Twp., died Thursday January 29, 2009 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown. She was the wife of Rudolph F. Pesty for 54 years before his death on December 15, 1996. Born in Hokendauqua, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Katherine (Procak) Datzyk. Mary was a sewing machine operator for 35 years for the former Fuller Sportswear of Whitehall Twp., before retiring in 1969. She was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Survivors: Sons, Gregory R. Pesty and wife Julianna of South Whitehall Twp., Donald Towich and wife Annette of N. Whitehall Twp., two grandsons, sister Olga Prinz of Whitehall Twp.
