Mary A. Niedermeyer, 75, of Slatington, previously of Allentown, passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James Kenneth Hirner and Margaret (Stringer) Hirner Diproperzio Fry. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Walter Niedermeyer.

She worked for many years as a hairdresser at Holiday Hair Fashion. She loved crafts including cross-stitching, making jewelry, and crocheting.

In addition to her husband, Walter, she is lovingly remembered by her children, Walter Niedermeyer and his wife, Noreen, William Niedermeyer, and Kimberly, wife of John Wunderler; five grandchildren: Kelsey, Mariah, Tyler, Sydney, and Ian; one great-grandchild, Elias, her brother, James Hirner, and two sisters, Jean Shea and Doris Henninger.

She was preceded in passing by her parents and a sister, Diane Pekarik.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 14th, 2021 from 6pm to 9pm at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown, PA 18102.
