Mary Joan Mess, of Allentown, passed away on December 24, 2014 at the age of 70. She was born in Allentown to the late Steve and Mary (Miklos) Scarpino. Mary had worked as a buyer for Hess's, started her own sewing business, taught sewing at the Baum School of Art, loved decorating and art, and liked doing Yoga and having her morning coffee at Nick's Diner.

Services: A viewing will be held on Monday December 29, 2014 from
