Mary E. Burak, 93, formerly of Allentown and Emmaus, passed away Feb. 14 at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Mary Bachman who passed in 1918 along with their daughter Catherine. Mary was the wife of the late John Burak Jr. who passed in 1998. She had worked as a salesperson for O & H Stupaks, Gramacy's and Hess's department stores all formerly in Allentown. She was a member of Immaculate Conception B.V.M. Catholic Church in Allentown. Survivors: Daughters, Mary Catherine of Dillsburg wife of the late Robert Dutcher, and Corinne wife of Leonard Hilbert of Allentown who Mary thought of as a son; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
