Mary K. Boner passed away peacefully at home on January 27 at the age of 76. Mary was born in Allentown to the late Joseph and Sarah (Willard) Krobath. She was the loving wife of Charles Boner Jr and together they celebrated 58 years of marriage this past December 29. Mary's greatest passion was her family. Her children, Chuck and Shari were truly blessed. Mary surrounded them with unconditional love, limitless support and fierce loyalty. Her joy abounded as Nana to Chucky, Jessie, and Tommy. She was a deeply cherished mother in law to Danny. Mary waitressed many years at the former Sheraton Hotel and Red Lobster restaurant, where her gracious and fun loving spirit endeared her to co-workers, managers, and guests long after her retirement. Mary's last few years were met with many challenges that she dealt with her devoted husband Charlie constantly by her side. Her loving sister and brother in law Jere and Rod provided endless comfort and support. She received spiritual guidance and peace from her nephew Father Ron Minner. In her last few months her dear friend Carole Koerbler was by her side. The family is also grateful for the services and support provided by Sacred Heart Hospice. Mary was predeceased by her sister Sara (Sallie) Krobath Roth and her brother Joseph Krobath Jr. Survivors: Husband Charles, Son Charles III and wife Lisa of Parryville, Daughter Sharon and husband Daniel Howard of Emmaus.
