Marlene S. Freer, 88, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Oscar R. and Lillian M. (Krauss) Brey. Marlene was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 47 years, Richard S. Freer Sr.

Marlene worked for many years at I-B Sportswear as a sewing machine operator until her retirement. She loved watching the Hallmark channel. She was fondly known as "GG" to family and friends.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: Helen R., wife of the late Stephen Supanek, Barbara M., wife of Ronald Kern, Richard S. Freer Jr, and his wife, Faye, Ernest W. Freer and his wife, Barbara, and Michael R. Freer; grandchildren: Jennifer and her husband, Dom, Ronald Jr. and his wife, Jackie, Richard and his wife, Brandice, and Stephen; great-grandchildren: Austin, Grayson, and Noah, step-great-granddaughter, Maddie, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in passing by her one brother and four sisters.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 10AM until the service at 11AM, all at Weber Funeral Home 502 Ridge Avenue Allentown, PA 18102.
