Marion Transue, a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family, passed away at the age of 91 on November 29. She was born in Allentown to the late: Mike and Minnie (Albert) Davis and was predeceased by her husband Gerard Henry Transue. She had been a seamstress for many years in Allentown, started the Les Ami Social Club, and was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church. Survivors: Son Jerry and wife Mitzie Transue of New Canaan, Conn. Daughter Beverly and husband David Yoder of Dataw Island, S.C.. Grandchildren Craig and Jonathan Transue and Beth Ann DeAngelis. Brother Joseph J. Davis of Little Egg Harbor, NJ and Sister Julia Kinsey of North Kingston, RI Service: A viewing will be held on Friday December 3 from 10am until a service at 11am both at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown.
