Jerry, 101, of Coopersburg passed away on September 18, 2014. He was born in Allentown on September 17, 1913 to the late Alvise and Maria (DeSordi) Vanim. Jerry worked for Phoenix Clothing for over 40 years, was a member of the Coopersburg and Upper Saucon fire companies, and was a devoted husband and father. He is predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Cecilia (Gestl), and his 6 siblings.

Survivors: Children Gerald and wife Margaret, Florence Stump, Thomas and wife Linda, and Robert and wife Jane; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many other loving family and friends.

Services: Viewing Monday, September 22, 6-8pm at Norcross-Weber Funeral Home, 101B N. Main St, Coopersburg. Viewing Tuesday, September 23, 9am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am, both at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Whitehall, to follow.
