Marifaith M. (Malloy) Recker, age 88, of Allentown, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital. She was born July 10, 1933 in Freeland, as the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Shrader) Malloy.

She worked at AT&T for 29 years until it became Lucent Telecommunications Equipment Company. She retired at age 62 and traveled nationally and internationally with close friends for many years. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and quilting. She enjoyed spending time with her family at all the family get-togethers they would have. She was a member of the Allentown Garden Club, the Pioneer Club, and St. Francis of Assisi Church for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia E. (David) Vrabel of Emmaus; one son, Joseph M. (Carolyn) Recker, Sr. of Catasauqua; two granddaughters, Erica (Alex) Bobsein and Erin (William) Rapp; one grandson, Joseph M. (Amy) Recker, Jr.; three great-grandsons, Bradley M. Bobsein, Benjamin Bobsein, and Liam Rapp; three great-granddaughters, Addison and Bailey Recker, and Maya Rapp; and two sisters, Grace A. Carr of Allentown and Annlynne (Frank) Tito of Connecticut.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 27 years, Joseph H. Recker; sister, Lorraine Thompson; and two brothers, Joseph Malloy, Jr. and David J. Malloy.

Professional Services are entrusted to Weber Funeral Home, 1619 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18102. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1046 W Cedar Street, Allentown, PA 18102 with Reverend  Richard Brensinger officiating. Calling Hours will also be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services.
