Marie M. Wassmer
Marie M. Wassmer, 96 of Allentown passed away on March 15 in Phoebe Nursing Home. Marie was an excellent mother and grandmother; she will be sadly missed by her family. She was the wife of the late Edmund Wassmer. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Koenig) Brucker. Marie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; she also worked for Phoenix Silk Mill for many years.
Survivors: Son, George H. Brucker of Whitehall, Granddaughter, Susan Gorsky wife of Richard of Allentown. Grandson, George E. Brucker husband of Pamela of Kutztown. Great-Grandchildren Kateryna Nikole Gorsky and Kaela Suzanne Gorsky of Allentown.
Services: Mass of Christian burial, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 19 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1046 W. Cedar St. Allentown. Viewing: 9:00 - 10:30 A.M.
