Marie Catherine Sweeney, 85, of Allentown died Wednesday April 22, 2009 in Triumph Hospital, Easton. She was the wife of Eugene Joseph Sweeney for 46 years before his death on September 14, 2001. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Anna (Traud) Miller. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Allentown. Marie was a devoted caregiver to her family, and loved by all. She will be deeply missed. Survivors: Sister, Ruth Saraceno of Hollywood, FL; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Clarence, Joseph, Arthur and Victor; sisters, Dorothy and Loretta.
