Marie Klusaritz

Marie Klusaritz, 90, formerly of Allentown, passed away on August 29, 2015 at the Attleboro Nursing & Rehab Center, Langhorne. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Yandrasits) Klucharich. She was the loving wife of the late John L. Klusaritz for 66 years until his death on Oct. 24, 2014. Marie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown. Marie graduated as valedictorian of her high school class from Allentown Central Catholic High School in 1943. During the years following World War II and into the 1950s, Marie had several jobs in the United States Government including working for the Reconstruction Finance Corporation and the United States Department of Navy. She later worked for the Breyers Ice Cream Company. Following that, she owned and operated her own business for almost 20 years starting in the mid-1960s as an interior decorator and designer of custom made draperies and window apparel. Marie was an accomplished accordionist.

Survivors: Daughters, Rita M. Bryan of Langhorne and Maria K. Dychala, wife of David of West Chester; Son, John J. of Potomac, MD; Sister, Agnes, wife of Joseph Burda of Macungie; Grandchildren, Kalli, Justin, John, Daniel, and James; and Grand dog, Sammi.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 AM, Fri., Sept. 4, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1046 N. Cedar St., Allentown. Viewing: 9:00 - 9:45 AM, Fri., at the church. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. (www.weberfuneralhomes.com)
